Reading Festival

I have just thought that I should really get round to Blogging about my wonderful experience at Reading Festival. It was my first time there and I thought that it was amazing and easily the best thing I did over the whole of my Summer. I went with my old friend, Rosa, and her friends from college and I was surprise at how well I fitted in with them (seeing as I am the definition of socially awkward).
I saw all of the bands that I wanted to see, which was good, and I met some lovely people who I hope to see again next year.

The highlight of the weekend had to be Pulp. I mean they were just amazing and I got to the barrier! I think my Dad was sooo jealous that I got to see them and he didn't because he is a huge pulp fan as well :P I also thought The Vaccines and The Naked and Famous were brilliant and I also got to the front for both. Of course, My Chemical Romance were fab but they are my favourite band and I have seen them 3 times already so they were just like visiting family ;) I was surprised at how bad 30 Seconds to Mars were... they were terrible! They sang their best song acoustic and the microphone was so quiet I could barely hear Jared. Was a bit of a let
down :(

But anyway, here are some of the pictures from either my disposable camera or digital camera:

Late shopping blog.

I went on a shopping haul over the Summer and I totally forgot to blog about what I bought (silly me!). So here we go, better late then never.

My first and favourite buy is my pair of Dr Martens that I purchased for a whopping £70. They have only recently just been worn in properly after endless amount of blisters and pains. Now I can wear them without my feet wanting to die! I had been after a pair like this for too long and it felt so good to own a pair!

The first vesty top I made myself :) I had the leopard fabric as a scarf/belt that came with a pair of shorts so I decided to sew it onto this top to give it something extra. I never got a chance to wear it over the Summer, but hopefully I can still look like a freak and wear it over Winter? The middle is a jumpsuit that I purchased from Forever 21 for around £17 I think. It is so lovely and comfortable and I wore it a lot and still will wear it a lot. The cardigan is from Primark for around £11? It's amazing and warm and cuddly and oversized and just lush. I try to get away with it for school as well and I think this is my new favourite cardigan.

New favourite bag! I wear it everywhere. I got it from Primark for around £10 I believe. Goes with everything and I am starting to adore Leopard Print.

My Mum bought me these today from Topshop for £8.50. I love them and I can't wait to wear them for my Halloween party.

New Nail Varnish that I got. Love both colours and I have been after a yellow for a long time. They were both relatively cheap for around £3 each so all is well in my bank ;)

More shopping?!?!

It would appear that I spend my life shopping which is not true. I had to go shopping on Friday for some dance costumes and then ended up buying this yummy pair of shoes for a bargain of £6! I have been waiting to buy these shoes for some time now but they NEVER had my size in stock... but I got lucky this time ;) And I was expecting them to be £16 but when I got to the till, they had been reduced to £6

So it could be seen as a plus that me and my Mum have the same size feet as she bought these to go out for dinner in and now they are a joint pair of shoes that we are going to share seeing as I have fallen in love with these beauties. I'm not sure of the price but they were relatively cheap (less than £20) and from Matalan.

This was a top that I bought for my job interview that was today. I have been wanting a top like this for quite some time and found this in Matalan for a cheap price of around £15 (I can't remember the exact price).

Hello London!

So seeing as I had some money stored up, I decided to go and spend it all in good old London. Le picture above is from the photobooth in Rough Trade that me and my friend adore.

The day started off terrible as I had been to a party the night before, had a bit too much to drink, and ended up having a horrible hangover. Hangovers do not feel good when the weather is humid and sunny and the tubes are crammed up with smelly people. I thought I was going to throw-up at one point. Of course my friend Mirry was much enjoying my suffering.

Anyways, we did our standard destinations but as it was a Sunday we decided to hit Brick Lane Market. It was brilliant and I definitely would go again. So now I shall move swiftly on to purchases. (I have included pictures of other items I have bought/been bought recently just because I wanted to).

The moustache glass was a gift from my lovely friend, Josh. I thought it was soooo sweet that he bought me one as I had been craving a moustache glass/mug for so long and he saw it was on the sale in Urban Outfitters and decided to get me one. It's soo cool, love him so much. The denim vest was from Rokit in Covent Garden and was £18. I am so happy with this purchase as I have been wanting a denim vest for ages and I had a sneaky feeling that Rokit would have one... and they did! This store is uber epic.

Le top picture was a necklace that I bought in Brick Lane Market. It was originally £6 but Mirry bargained it down to £5 (WIN). I thought the necklace was quite unique as normally I see an overload of owl ones, and I hadn't seen one like this before so I just had to buy it :). The bottom picture was of a necklace I bought a couple of weeks back from ebay for around £3 I believe. I have seen necklaces like this all over tumblr (http://emsalice.tumblr.com) and I desperately wanted one. At first the quality was shit as the cross kept falling off, but my Dad fixed it and now it's a lot better.

The top picture is of a ring I got from Brick Lane Market. It was originally £3, but as Mirry was buying 2 other rings, she gaves us a 3 for £7 deal which was pretty coolio... I think I ended up paying £2.50 or something. I like cameras so I like this ring. The bottom picture is a phone charm that I got from China Town... it's so frikkin' cute that I couldn't not buy it! Mirry thinks it's hideous but she knows nothing ^.^ It's called Gizmo.

Just me talking about 5 items of mine ;)

I'd say enjoy but it's really not that great.
